Choose Your Own Adventure is a great end-of-year project to plan a vacation that ties together everything you worked so hard on all year.
Taking what they’ve learned from geography, science, language, and math lessons, students are invited to “choose their own adventure” independently finding a location (anywhere in the world) to visit, booking travel and accommodations (pricing options), as well as creating an itinerary for their trip including where to eat and what to see and do. They research each step of the journey while creating a journal of their experience, documenting facts and new information, as well as writing creative responses and reviews about their imagined experience. A Works Cited page is also created to document their planning and experience.
